![]() A similar setup can be created around a Raspberry Pi or other single board computers. Our current setup is composed of a Jetson Nano, connected to the printer mainboard through a USB cable. Moreover, we wanted to have a mainboard equipped with a powerful processor to run applications like Octoprint, and provides HDMI, USB and Wireless network interfaces. Therefore, we wanted to have a mainboard which offers easy access to all interfaces of the processor. Trying to update the existing boards with new features like a bed level sensor, accelerometer, belt tension sensor, and others resulted in more or less complicated modifications of the existing mainboards. The main objective of this project is to develop a modular mainboard for our 3d printers, which provides an easy plug and play system to extend the features of the mainboard.Ĭurrently our printers are equipped with Jetson Nano and either the Creality mainboard, coming with the printer, or the Duet mainboard.
